Potassium Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Soy Protein is a sodium salt of a condensation product of coconut acids with hydrolyzed soybean proteins, a functional natural-derived surfactant. Its aqueous solution is a clear amber-yellow liquid with a slight odor.

Potassium Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Soy Protein is compatible with all the anionic and non-ionic surfactants normally used in soaps and cleansing applications, a good alternative for similar animal-derived ingredients. It is incompatible with cationic surfactants.

Potassium Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Soy Protein is a versatile ingredient for skin and hair care products, especially for detergent applications with increased skin tolerability. Thanks to its mild action, it is used in plant-based cleansers and baby care products, reducing the skin irritation of traditional surfactants.
