Manufactured from a high-quality hydrolyzed soy protein, derived from sun-ripened soya beans, and a stripped coconut fatty acid, Sodium Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Soy Protein provides mild, gentle conditioning and generates a rich, natural lather.

Soy protein contains a high level of glutamic and aspartic acids, so hydrolysate is extremely moisture-retentive conjugated with fatty acids and acts as a surfactant exhibiting good cleansing and foaming properties.

In addition, Sodium Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Soy Protein acts as a foam texturizer and conditioning agent for shampoos, hair dyes, and relaxers. Combined with anionic surfactants, it reduces the irritation potential of the formula. It also has a good compatibility with cationic surfactants.

Sodium Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Soy Protein is an ideal plant-based foaming surfactant for skin and hair care applications. It is an excellent co-solubilizing agent for cationic polymers, such as Polyquaternium-10, allowing them to deposit on the hair in a controlled fashion. It has good stability in high pH formulations making them well suited for hair dye and hair relaxer systems.
