Vitamin E is rightfully considered one of the most essential beauty vitamins. It is not a single organic molecule; Vitamin E is a group of lipid-soluble compounds consisting of two major groups, tocopherols and tocotrienols, with four types in each (alpha, beta, gamma, and delta).

Oxidative stress caused by UV radiation, free radicals, peroxides, and other environmental factors plays a significant role in the aging process. Tocotrienols are powerful antioxidants that defend skin from oxidative stress and premature aging.

Tocotrienols are fat-soluble vitamins naturally occurring in many foods (e.g., walnuts), and essential oils have important photoprotective and anti-photoaging effects on the skin cells, preserving the lipid barrier, original beauty, and health.
