Pantethine as an intermediate in the conversion of Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5) to Coenzyme A plays an important role in the metabolism of amino acids, carbohydrates, and lipids. Due to people’s lifestyle changes resulting i. a. in bad blood fat- and cholesterol levels, pantethine seems to become an important ingredient in nutritional products to enhance one’s health.

Incorporated in skin, hair, and lash care applications, Pantethine leaves a Panthenol-like effect boosting metabolic processes in the cells, enhancing regeneration, and accelererating hair and lash growth. Thanks to the disulfide bond in the molecule, it inhibits the tyrosinase enzyme crucial for melanin production fighting against hyperpigmentation and dark spots.

In addition, Pantethine enhances moisture levels in the skin, fights against dermal irritation, and improves the entire quality of the skin. It is also a useful ingredient in anti-acne, after-sun, and detoxifying preparations.

Incorporated in hair care applications, Pantethine strengthens hair, improves follicles, and accelerates growth. It is an ideal ingredient for lush care products that also accelerates growth and increases lush volume, strength, and natural beauty.
