Black silt has been used in the treatment of skin conditions for centuries. It is one of the peloids that have a great therapeutic effect on the skin. Black silt contains tiny quartz crystals, chitin, ions, and other beneficial substances.

Small particles like quartz crystals are effective mechanical exfoliators, eliminating dull and dead skin cells from the surface. In addition, chitin is a great natural adsorbent that sacks in the dirt, excess sebum, and impurities, leaving clean, fresh, and mattified skin.

Rich in ions, especially cations like Calcium, Potassium, and Sodium, Black silt balances the ion exchange processes, changing gradients and improving skin cells' renewal rate. It's an ideal ingredient for cleansers, exfoliants, and clay masks.
