Ammonium Cocoyl Isethionate

Ammonium Cocoyl Isethionate is an acyl isethionate surfactant based on purified fatty acids derived from natural coconut oil (a mixture of alkyl chain lengths C8-C18+). It is mild to skin and eyes with similar properties to Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, but it is more soluble in water (aqueous solution can contain 30% solids) and enables transparent cleansing formulations.

Thanks to its mildness, lubricious lather, and high foaming properties, Ammonium Cocoyl Isethionate exhibits exceptional detergent performance and leaves a silky-soft after-feel on the skin. It has a mild odor and provides excellent foam in hard or soft water.

The manufacturing process produces no hazardous or environmentally threatening by-products, and Ammonium Cocoyl Isethionate is based on renewable raw materials and is an eco-friendly, totally biodegradable surfactant.
