X50® Hyalufiller is a peptide-based complex ingredient with an advanced delivery mechanism (Cosmetic Drone™) and targeted release of biologically active components. The complex structure consists of three parts:
- Polymer capsule (Lactic Acid/Glycolic Acid Copolymer with Polyvinyl Alcohol) that protects the active ingredient
- An externally anchored target peptide (Heptapeptide-15 palmitate) that binds to skin fibroblasts by a key/lock mechanism, providing targeted delivery of active ingredients and mimicking natural growth factors
- An active peptide (Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-50) that boosts hyaluronic acid and other GAGs (glycosaminoglycans) production by increasing the Hyaluronan synthase 2 (HAS2) enzyme synthesis.
