Arlatone® V-175 is an off-white powder dispersible in water. It is a nonionic, polymeric-based emulsifying system comprising a unique blend of polysaccharides and esters.

It is an excellent component of high-end personal care products because its neutral sensorial profile allows a full range of emollients and the total effect of the active ingredients to be realized in a final formulation. Arlatone V-175 is also the emulsifying system of choice for all-natural, non-animal-based products because its efficacy with a broad range of ingredients and ease of use make formulating an all-natural product easier.

With a neutral skin sensorial profile, Arlatone® V-175 is a mild, non-irritating complex that does not increase viscosity. It is effective with polar/non-polar oils and a broad range of bodying systems. Compatible with most ingredients, the complex is effective in a broad pH range and is cold-processable.

Arlatone® V-175 is used in thin liquid emulsions (sprayable, tissue impregnation), O/W light creams, multiple emulsions (2-step W/O/W, 2-step glycerin/O/W), sun care (organic filters, inorganic filters) applications, fluid make-ups, insect repellant milks, high perfume emulsions, and make-up removers.
