Aqua Shuttle is a marine liposomal complex that hydrates skin with outstanding results. It results from advanced encapsulation and the technology of combined molecular covers and can be applied to already proven efficacious active ingredients.
Aqua Shuttle mimics the skin’s natural hydration mechanisms. Taking diatoms, a type of unicellular eukaryotic algae found in marine ecosystems, as an example, it has been possible to mimic their nature and reproduce their structure, allowing the encapsulation of active ingredients into the core of those sponge-like structures.
Based on this technology, our lab has designed an innovative process to encapsulate the main active ingredients, glycerin, sorbitol, and Laminaria Digitata, which are released through a controlled release system in the skin, ensuring adequate and long-lasting hydration.
Aqua Shuttle combines encapsulated active ingredients that prevent the TEWL and additional hygroscopic agents to maintain and recover the hydration balance.
