Abrasive agent

Abrasive agents are natural or mineral mechanical exfoliants with different particle sizes for facial and body exfoliation. They can be used in body scrubs and peelings, exfoliating shower gels and body polishes, and facial cleansing and exfoliating products.

Usually, an abrasive agent is a fine powder insoluble in water made of micronized natural materials such as shells of hard fruits or kernels, bran, or stiff stems. From mineral abrasives, the most popular are different types of clays, silicates, pearl powder, etc.
