Biopeptide EL™ is a peptide-based complex ingredient for skin firmness and tone improvement. Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12 is a synthetic lipo-peptide, a derivative of VGVAPG-peptide with the sequence Val-Gly-Val-Ala-Pro-Gly which is a fragment of the natural elastin. That part of the protein is also called a "spring fragment" repeated six times in the elastin molecule.

The molecule Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12 consists of two parts, peptide attached to lipophilic palmitic acid which makes it more stable while also enhancing its ability to bind to human skin and penetrate through the lipid barrier.

Thanks to the chemotactic effect of VGVAPG potentiates (fragments or peptides), Biopeptide EL™ boosts dermal restructuration based on cell communication. It stimulates fibroblast activity and mobility, enhancing collagen and elastin production, improving skin firmness, and exposing a youthful appearance.

Biopeptide EL™ is suitable for skin-firming, eye-contouring, and mature hand care products. Incorporated in skincare applications, it restructures cutaneous tissues, smoothing skin surface, fighting against fine lines and deep wrinkles, and revealing a rejuvenated-looking appearance.
