Vitamins & provitamins

Vitamins are known for their critical role in human health and in all body tissues, including the skin. Some vitamins, such as vitamins A and E, or pantothenic acid in the form of panthenol, are not only ingested. They can be applied directly to the skin to protect its structure or prevent premature aging.

Many vitamins and provitamins are included in nearly all exclusive beauty products. Due to their ability to fight the harmful effects of sunlight UV irradiation, immunity-enhancing function, and anti-inflammatory properties, they have significant protective effects on the skin.

L-ascorbyl phosphate
This particular Vitamin C derivative can be used to stimulate collagen repair thus diminishing some of the effects of photo aging. Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is also capable of replenishing Vitamin E’s antioxidant capacity.
Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate

Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate is the tetra-ester of l-ascorbic acid and 2-hexadecenoic acid, which means that Vitamin C conjugated (esterized) with four lipophilic parts of the 2-hexadecenoic version of isopalmitic acid (an isomer of palmitic acid), which makes it very stable in formulations and give

This mix of potent tocopherols from Vitamin E is highly protective, guarding the skin against the damage caused by free radicals to reduce the appearance of age spots, lines, wrinkles and pigmentation issues.

Vitamin E (tocopherol) has been shown to take part in a number of different biochemical reactions in the body. It is a powerful free radical scavenger, boosts immune function, and helps in the formation of red blood cells along with the trace minerals, selenium, vitamin A, and vitamin K.

Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate)
Tocopheryl acetate is a specific type of vitamin E in a class of organic chemicals known as tocopherols. These compounds are considered fat-soluble antioxidants, but they also have many other functions in the body.
Tocotrienol
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that defends skin from oxidative stress and premature aging. These fat-soluble vitamins naturally occurring in many foods (e.g., walnut), and essential oils leave important photoprotective and anti-photoaging effects on the skin cell, preserving lipid barrier, original beauty, and health.
Retinol

UTMF Retinol is a complex with a silicone-based delivery system for retinol stabilization inside skin semi-occlusive film-formers.

Retinol

vitAlease 3.3 is a complex with high retinol levels (3.3 %) in wax capsules for every formulation.

Retinol is a challenging ingredient for cosmetic products. Formulators face two challenges: first, increasing the stability of retinol in cosmetic applications to prevent its degradation and maintain its effectiveness, and second, minimizing the potential side effects of skin irritation.

Vitamin A
Vitamin A in cosmetic preparations is intended for all skin types. Mature skin becomes supple and radiant, and wrinkles are reduced.
Vitamin B5
Vitamin B5 is used as a wound-healing accelerator and a moisturizer. It widely used in pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C also known as L-Ascorbic acid plays a crucial role in human skin. It performs a large number of duties to ensure the radiance, firmness, and youthful look of the skin.
Vitamin E
Vitamin E natural antioxidant is extracted from vegetable oils. It was originally extracted from wheat germ oil, but now most of the natural vitamin E comes from soy or sunflower seeds.

Vitazyme® A-Plus is a retinyl palmitate/carrot protein/beta-carotene complex, which, in contrast to all commercially available forms of vitamin A, delivers the vitamin as a water-dispersible substance.

Potent antioxidant that guards against oxidation and free radical damage caused by UV exposure. Protects collagen, keeping skin firm.
